Ampersand welcomes Fergus Thomson back to the Scottish Bar

Ampersand is pleased to announce that Fergus Thomson has returned to practice as an Advocate.

Fergus’s membership fits well with Ampersand’s practice areas and strengthens further Ampersand’s extensive commercial litigation expertise. Ampersand’s Director Simon Di Rollo QC said “We are delighted that Fergus is returning to practice at the bar and has joined Ampersand. There can be no doubt that he will enhance the expertise available in the commercial and insolvency fields”.

Having previously been in practice at the Bar between 2004 and 2006, Fergus also has extensive experience both in corporate finance and as a commercial solicitor. His practice encompasses a full range of civil work, with a particular emphasis on financial, professional negligence and insolvency-related matters. Mr Thomson said: “I am delighted to be returning to practice at the Scottish Bar and also to be joining Ampersand, one of the leading commercial Stables at Parliament House.”
