Two new calls for Ampersand

We are delighted to announce the arrival of two newly called members to the stable, Roderick Campbell and Catherine MacColl, both of whom called today, 11th July 2008.
Roderick has extensive experience in defender insurance work, in particular in professional negligence. Before entering the law he spent a short time as a personnel officer. Prior to calling at the Bar, he spent eighteen years as a partner in an international law firm based in London during which he also undertook voluntary legal advice for a Citizens Advice Bureau. More recently he has acquired an LLM in Human Rights Law.
Catherine has come to the Bar from a background as a solicitor in commercial litigation in Edinburgh. As a solicitor Catherine conducted litigation in the Court of Session, including the commercial court. She has experience of appearing in a range of Sheriff Court hearings, and also in the Lands Tribunal. She is a CEDR accredited mediator and has degrees in philosophy as well as law.
