Summary
Christopher Haddow QC has a purely civil practice and acts mainly in varied land and property related subjects. He is the leading practitioner in valuation for rating purposes and advises on landlord and tenant disputes including rent review interpretations and dilapidations claims and also on compulsory purchase compensation claims. He gives regular advice on conveyancing and land register problems. Christopher Haddow also acts in professional negligence cases, e.g., solicitors, surveyors and insurance brokers. He has occasional involvement in planning.
Experience
All civil courts although mainly Lands Tribunal for Scotland and Court of Session (Outer House and Inner House) as well as local valuation appeal committees and other committees (including occasional disciplinary bodies).
