Experience

Archie MacSporran has spent four years as an Edinburgh solicitor and has been 17 years at the Bar. He has a wide range of experience in the Court of Session including reclaiming motions, proofs, civil jury trials, procedure rolls and commercial actions. His Sheriff court work includes appeals, proofs, debates and Fatal Accident Inquiries. He has also appeared in mental health tribunals and appeals therefrom and has acted as commissioner in a "dawn raid".
