Experience
Graham Maciver was called to the Bar in July 2007. He is developing a practice around commercial, personal injury and administrative law. He has appeared in a number of commercial and banking disputes, in both the Court of Session and in the Sheriff Courts. He has also appeared before tribunals.
Prior to calling, Graham Maciver was a member of HM Diplomatic Service. He acquired extensive experience in international law and in European law, and was involved in litigation before the European Court of Justice and in the English courts. He also acquired experience of areas of public and administrative law including judicial review, human rights, competition law and state aids, civil partnership, extradition and asylum, and legislation.
