Summary
Isabella Ennis has a busy civil practice. This is undertaken within a variety of areas of law. Isabella acts on behalf of Pursuers, defenders, insurers, local authorities and the Scottish Government. She undertakes work funded via civil legal aid, trade unions or on a speculative basis. She is recognised in Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession 2007 as one of the leading junior counsel in family law.
Experience
Isabella Ennis has considerable advocacy experience gained over her years at the Bar. This includes House of Lords, Inner and Outer House experience in a wide range of cases: reclaiming motions, proofs, judicial review hearings, procedure rolls: Sheriff Court experience in proofs, debates, Fatal Accident Inquiries, Children's Hearing Referrals, Freeing for Adoption: Public Inquiry experience.
